Nights into Dreams ... (ナ イ ツ Naitsu?) (Graphically rendered as NiGHTS into DREAMS ...) is a video game released by SEGA in 1996 for Sega Saturn console. The story of the game follows two teenage kids, Claris Sinclair and Elliot Edwards, entering a dream world, where they are led by the main game protagonist, called Nights, who is a level one, Nightmaren created by Wizeman, but rebelled when they realized he was in need of being stopped. While Nights is meant to be genderless, they seem much like a female, dressing in purple and having long eyelashes, while also sounding like a young British woman.

"Nights into Dreams ..." was developed by Sonic Team, produced by Yuji Naka (also as a programmer) and Naoto Ohshima, who has worked as a character designer and director. Oshima wanted the character to resemble an "Angel that can fly like a bird". Oshima also compared angels to the Burning Rangers in the game of the same name. The developer's intentions were to make the sensation of flying as the central element of gameplay , through a combination of 2D and 3D graphics.

The game also received generally positive reviews, and is one of the best selling Saturn games along with Virtua Fighter 2 and Daytona USA.

Nights also launched with a round analog stick controller. This controller would eventually become standard towards the end of the Saturn's lifespan and it's design would eventually evolve into the Dreamcast controller.

The video game was republished for PlayStation 2 on February 21, 2008 exclusively in Japan. An HD version was released in October 2012 for Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. A sequel, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, was released for the Wii in 2007.
