IGN has written a preview of Stormrise, Sega's upcoming real-time shooter for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The version they previewed was the Xbox 360 version. They go into some detail on the control of the game and how it differs from other RTS games.
There's apparently no pointing and clicking, at least in the traditional sense of realtime strategies. The way the game's been developed, quick flicks of the analog stick will choose the specific unit in your army -- the game takes the perspective of what your unit can see from that position, and as long as you can see it from where you are, you can go there. You can also, from another unit's perspective, send other troops from one location to the other using the game's click-and-drag interface. According to the producer, the game doesn't need fog of war because of the fact that you can only go as far as you can see.
